Shark Head Papercraft

This shark head is a little more realistic that your typical low poly papercraft wall hanging. However, as it is still composed of angular shapes, it makes for a relatively easy build. The finished model is around 20"(50 cm) high. If the model is considered to be life size, it would be close to the size of a small to medium sized shark. Papercraft Wolf Head

It is curious why so many papercraft designers have created what amounts to life size paper models of taxidermized animal heads. Now, many of the heads are "low poly" geometric representations, but others, like this wolf head by Paper Juke are quite realistic. I assume Juke used a 3D model from some video game as the basis of this papercraft. The Pepakura PDO template for the head may be downloaded here. The finished model is about 10" (26 cm) wide. 3D Papercraft Doomguy Mask

Remember the in-game space marine avatar in the original Doom video game? His steely face was the health indicator in the heads-up display at the bottom of the screen. Using the 2D HUD image of the Doomguy's face, Dean Swanton created this printable 3D papercraft mask! Dean has graciously allowed me to offer the template for the mask through Tektonten Papercraft. A download of Dean's files may be found here. Be forewarned, the files are in a somewhat raw form and may require some cleanup to improve the build-ability of the model. The first Doom game was released in 1993.

X-Men Sentinel Head Papercraft

In the X-Men Origins: Wolverine video game, one of the bosses Wolverine must face is a gigantic Sentinel robot. This papercraft Sentinel head is based on a 3D model from the game. Avengers Papercraft: Ultron Head

A long standing enemy of the Avengers in comic books by Marvel, the super-villain Ultron has now been introduced into the Marvel cinematic universe as well. This life-size Ultron head by Gankutsu-o-Taku is one of the first contributions to the wave of papercraft fan art that is sure to follow the release of the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie last week. The Pepakura PDO template for the head is available here. As this papercraft is life-size, theoretically it could be modified to become an Ultron mask!

Severed Zombie Head Paper Toy

If you are looking for gore in your Halloween paper toys, this severed zombie head paper toy is just the ticket. The toy includes a pool of blood along with the head. Presumably the blood is from the zombie's last meal as zombies don't have blood flowing through their veins any longer... do they? ;) The template for the toy is the creation of Abi Braceros and may be downloaded here.

Doctor Who Cyberman Helmet Papercraft

In the history of the Doctor Who television show there have been two types of Cybermen. In the original series, Cybermen are cyborgs from the planet Mondas. In the reboot of the series, Cybermen are robotic entities manufactured on an alternate universe Earth by Cybus Industries. This papercraft Cyberman helmet is that of the second type of Cyberman. Michael Jackson Thriller Zombie Head Paper Toy

Who can forget Michael Jackson's zombie makeup from his Thriller music video? This paper toy of MJ's head was created by the author of the Toca do Caveira website using his blank "cranio freak" paper toy template.
