Marvel Papercraft: Loki

I like the subtlety of this Loki paper model: the relaxed pose, the crown in hand, the look of stern resignation on the face. Considering the creator of this papercraft (DeviantART member MorellSunweaver) combined two different Loki 3D models from the Marvel Future Fight video game to create this model, I think the results are excellent! He also created the scepter from scratch without benefit of a model from the game! The finished model stands stands at roughly 14" (35 cm) tall. Thanos Paper Model

Here's another fine Marvel Comics paper model from Paperttore at the Papercraft LED website. Rocket and Groot Papercraft

Sadly, Groot is currently gone from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. *Sniff* But perhaps things will change when Avengers: Endgame is released on April 26th! Until then, we can pass the time by building some Marvel papercraft! ;) This Rocket Raccoon and Groot pair was created by the fine folks at UnfoldBrazil. Marvel Papercraft: Iron Spider

In Marvel Comic's "Civil War" storyline, Tony Stark creates for Spider-Man a new costume which Stark calls the "Iron Spider" armor. The costume possesses mechanical arms attached to the back. In homage to the popular comic book storyline, a similar Spider-Man costume appeared in the movie Avengers: Infinity War. Marvel Papercraft: Infinity War Captain America

The wait for some decent Infinity War papercraft is over! This Captain America paper model by Zav-Papercraft comes complete with removable Wakandan shields. PDF and Pepakura PDO templates for the model may be downloaded here. The finished model is 19.7" (50 cm) tall. The next Avengers movie is currently scheduled for release in the US in May 2019. I can hardly wait!

Marvel Comics Thanos Paper Toy

It's only two weeks till Avengers: Infinity War is released! Here's a Marvel Comics papercraft to make while you wait. ^^ This paper toy is the arch-villain Thanos as he appears in vintage comic books. On his left hand is the Infinity Gauntlet with all Infinity Stones in place. Thanos has made some cameo appearances in previous movies, but in Infinity War he will play a major role in the story. DIY Papercraft Thor Hammer for Kids

I have featured several different paper models of the war hammer of Marvel Comics' Thor, but this is the first one that is specifically scaled for children. Offered by the Disney Family website, the template for this model may be downloaded here. In both Norse mythology and also in comic books published by Marvel, Thor's hammer is named "Mjolnir". Chibi Hulkbuster Iron Man Paper Model

Iron Man's hulkbuster armor first appeared in Marvel comic books in 1994 and has been popular with fans ever since. The hulkbuster armor is composed of exo-skeleton add-ons to Iron Man's regular armor that increase the strength of his suit to the point he is able to go toe to toe with the Incredible Hulk. This Chibi (or some would say "super deformed") paper model by Carlos Eduardo André is based on how the Hulkbuster armor appeared in the Marvel movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron. Disney XD Iron Man Paper Toy

The animated television series, The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes! premiered on Disney XD in 2010. This Iron Man  paper toy was released by Disney the same year to promote the show.  The look of the toy reflects the animation style of the series.  Although Earth's Mightiest Heroes was replaced by the Avengers Assemble show in 2013, this papercraft is still available. S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier 64 Paper Model

In  books by Marvel Comics, helicarriers are flying aircraft carriers used by the intelligence agency S.H.I.E.L.D. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe helicarriers have appeared in two Avengers movies, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and also on the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. television show. Some argue that a helicarrier also appears in the final battle scene of the Deadpool movie, but that is an ongoing debate. ^^ Obviously a Marvel fan, Tekzo has created a 1:800 scale paper model of Helicarrier 64 which appears in Avengers: Age of Ultron. One thing that impresses me about the model is that it includes tiny aircraft to place on the helicarrier's deck! The PDF template for the model may be downloaded here. The PDF is zipped inside a .7z file which may be opened with the free program "7-Zip".

Captain America Paper Model

Another Captain America movie will be released this week! This Captain America paper model was released in 2009 by Action Papercrafts. It has always been one of my favorite papercraft renditions of the good captain. Even though this model is an oldie-but-goodie, the Pepakura PDO template is still available here. The finished model stands 15" (39 cm) tall and includes a display base (not shown).

This cute glue-less paper toy of the Mighty Thor is immediately recognizable as the work illustrator Anthony Brennan. Anthony's specialty is creating paper toys of celebrities, but he does do the occasional superhero. Avengers Papercraft: Ultron Head

A long standing enemy of the Avengers in comic books by Marvel, the super-villain Ultron has now been introduced into the Marvel cinematic universe as well. This life-size Ultron head by Gankutsu-o-Taku is one of the first contributions to the wave of papercraft fan art that is sure to follow the release of the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie last week. The Pepakura PDO template for the head is available here. As this papercraft is life-size, theoretically it could be modified to become an Ultron mask!

Papercraft Avengers Magic Folding Cube

A magic folding cube is a cube with six photos on the sides that folds open to create a new cube with six different photos showing. In this case, the photos on the cube are of Marvel's Avengers! The twelve photos included on the cube are: Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, The Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Nick Fury, Agent Coulson, Agent Hill, Dr. Selvig, Loki and the Avengers logo.  A copy of the template may be found here.

Life Size Incredible Hulk Papercraft

And in this corner, standing at 2 meters tall (yet weighing only a few pounds)... It's a life size papercraft Hulk! This is one of those paper models you have to be a little crazy to build. It wouldn't hurt to have a stockpile of ink cartridges for your printer either. The two part, 383 page Pepapkura PDO template was created by Metal Heart at Paper Juke and may be downloaded here.

Marvel Avengers Papercraft: Loki

Here's a papercraft Christmas present from Xavier Gale-Sides. It's a model of the character Loki as he appears in the Thor and Avengers movies. In the Marvel Comics universe, Loki is the half-brother of Thor and the Asgardian god of mischief, madness and evil. Incredible Hulk Paper Toy

This has to be the most incredibly hulking Hulk papercraft around! ^^ This paper toy by Thiesko was not created with the current Avengers movie in mind. Thiesko designed the model in 2010 because, well, he just likes the Hulk. The two pages of the template may be downloaded here and here.
