3D Tiger Mask Papercraft

This 3D papercraft mask by designer, Zeodtr, was inspired by the Japanese Manga series, Tiger Mask. The storyline of Tiger Mask follows the exploits of a masked professional wrestler as he combats a mysterious organization that exploits young wrestlers. The template for this papercraft is available in Pepakura PDO format only and may be downloaded from Pepakura Gallery. The Tiger Mask manga and anime were popular in Japan in the late 1960s and 1970s.

Egyptian Funerary Mask Papercraft

This life size papercraft mask is very close in design to the gold funerary mask of pharaoh Tutankhamun. However, it is missing some of the features of King Tut's mask like the vulture and the cobra on the forehead. I don't know the author of this paper model, but a link in the template seems to indicate it originated in Russia. The unlocked Pepakura PDO template for the model may be downloaded on Mediafire.

DIY 3D Trump Mask

Happy Halloween! Here's a creepy mask for your trick or treating fun: Donald Trump! Andy Kong, who created the mask, says the mask is intended for both supporters and protestors of Trump. Printable Marvel Black Panther Mask

This excellent 3D papercraft Black Panther cowl is a free sample from DT Workshop. The life-size mask is constructed from two types of special card stock: textured black and metallic silver. While great as a display piece, in order to be worn as a functional mask, the eyes need to be either left as open holes or replaced with a transparent material. Fortnite Papercraft: Ragnarok Mask

Happy Halloween! If you are looking for a quick last minute costume, this Fortnite Ragnarok mask is probably not the thing for you as it will take more than a couple of hours to build. But just in case you do have the time... ;) This mask was released by Sabi96 in 2018. The download (available HERE) includes both PDF and Pepakura PDO templates. Ragnarok is one of many Legendary Outfits in the Fortnite video game. The Ragnarok outfit depicts a blue-haired Norse warrior who wears a demon skull mask into combat.

DIY Minecraft Halloween Pumpkin & Creeper

Rixie is a crafty mom who made some Minecraft Halloween decorations for her front porch. I think they turned out great! Using papercraft templates as a guide, Rixie painted square cardboard boxes to look like a Minecraft jack-o-lantern and a creeper head. I think these would also work well as masks for a Minecraft Halloween costume. Instructions on how to build the pumpkin and the creeper may be found here. If you prefer desktop size versions of the heads, Rixie has included copies of the papercraft templates she used to make the cardboard versions.

Printable Japanese Fox Mask

In Japanese folklore, foxes are said to be shapeshifting tricksters. In the spirit of fun, during certain festivals in Japan, it is a tradition to wear decorative fox masks (aka kitsune masks). This printable papercraft kitsune mask is offered by Sagara Works as an inexpensive DIY alternative to more expensive paper mache or ceramic fox masks. Official Papercraft Fortnite Masks

Just the thing for Halloween, these printable Fortnite masks are available as free downloads in the cosplay section of the Epic Games website. The nine masks available (as of today's date) are pictured. The Fortnite characters represented are Rabbit Raider, Skull Trooper, Ghoul Trooper, Wild Card, Stella, Heartbreaker, Arachne. Lovethorn, and Webster. In addition to the masks, there are also available nine "mini-foldable" paper toys of a whole different set of characters. Enjoy the fun!

These easy, printable, 2D Legend of Zelda masks are just the thing if you need a last minute mask for Halloween. There are five masks in all, each based on a different character from the Majora's Mask video game. The masks pictured are Zora, Fierce Deity Link, a Deku, and Majora's mask itself. Also available, but not pictured, is a Goron mask. PDFs of the masks may be download in a single ZIP file at the Nintendo website. Note: these are child-size and will need to be printed larger if adult use is intended.

Papercraft Hatsune Miku Kitsune Mask

Hatsune Miku is the title character in the rhythm video game series Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA. In the game, the video for the song "Close and Open, Demons and the Dead" has Hatsune with a kitsune mask on her head. This full size paper model of her mask was created by DeviantART member Gankutsu-o-taku.  The Pepakura PDO template for the mask may be downloaded here. Kitusne masks are fun fox themed masks worn during certain Shinto festivals in Japan.

The Fortnite video game franchise has become wildly successful in the last year. Of all the variations of the game, the free Battle Royale mode has proven most popular. Battle Royale is a 100 person player versus player melee on one giant map. Victory is achieved by being the last person standing. Players may customize the look of their in-game avatars by purchasing outfit skins. The 1:1 scale paper model pictured is of an animal mask that is part of the "Drift" outfit skin. Printable Zombie Half Mask

It is nearing Halloween and every good papercraft blog is posting masks for the season. Here is one from me: a zombie half mask! I thought covering only one eye was an interesting idea for a mask. Although in order to make this look right I think the nose area of the mask needs to be cut out to allow your own nose to stick through. ^^ The 2D printable image for this mask was created by Buz Carter and may be downloaded from his Flickr page here.

Printable Ant Man Mask

The next movie release for the Marvel Cinematic Universe will occur in July with the release of Ant Man and the Wasp. This printable 2D mask was a promotional giveaway for kids back in 2015 when the first Ant Man movie hit theaters. 3D Papercraft Doomguy Mask

Remember the in-game space marine avatar in the original Doom video game? His steely face was the health indicator in the heads-up display at the bottom of the screen. Using the 2D HUD image of the Doomguy's face, Dean Swanton created this printable 3D papercraft mask! Dean has graciously allowed me to offer the template for the mask through Tektonten Papercraft. A download of Dean's files may be found here. Be forewarned, the files are in a somewhat raw form and may require some cleanup to improve the build-ability of the model. The first Doom game was released in 1993.

Printable Frankenweenie Masks

These printable Frankenweenie masks for kids were released by the Disney Family website a couple of years ago. Frankenweenie is the fourth stop-motion animated movie by director Tim Burton. The 2012 film was based on Burton's 1984 live action movie of the same name, which was in turn based on the 1931 movie, Frankenstein. A single PDF containing all three masks may be downloaded here.

3D Papercraft Joker Mask

If I were looking for a Joker mask that is most true to how the villain appears in the pages of Batman comic books, I would look no further than this mask. The Joker's insanely evil personality is captured perfectly in the facial expression of the mask. But be warned, this papercraft is not for beginners. As the author explains, certain parts of the mask have no gluing tabs, so improvisation is required when gluing the mask together. The Pepakura PDO template for the mask may be downloaded here.

This papercraft Santa Claus mask is based on a 3D model from the Payday series of video games. The Payday games follow the exploits of a group of bank robbers who wear various masks to commit their crimes. A Santa mask is one of several masks that may be unlocked in the game. Life Size Papercraft Majora's Mask

Here is another excellent Zelda papercraft from Otaku Crafts: a life size Majora's Mask. Love those vibrant colors! I also like that the mask is large enough that it can be worn as part of a Halloween costume (although it might take more than a single strand of elastic string to keep it on your face ^^). Snow White Magic Mirror Papercraft

In Disney's Snow White, the Evil Queen consults a magic mirror to obtain arcane knowledge. Imprisoned within the mirror is a mystic being known as the "Slave". This being appears in the form of a talking theater mask. Above is my build photo of a paper model of the magic mirror mask. To create this papercraft, I modified a 3D model from the Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep video game. The finished model is 1:1 scale.
