Godzilla: King of the Monsters Papercraft

This awesome papercraft depicts Godzilla as he appears in the 2019 movie, Godzilla: King of the Monsters. This a large paper model standing at 32.7" (83 cm) tall and measuring 49.7" (126 cm) from nose to tip of tail. The template for the model comes in both PDF and Pepakura PDO format. The template was created by WR Papercrafts and may be downloaded from their MediaFire page. King of the Monsters is notable in that it stars Mille Bobby Brown of Stranger Things fame. Kaiju Papercraft: Gamera

Gamera is, well, a giant prehistoric flying turtle. I always thought he was just another one of Godzilla's many foes. Turns out, I was wrong. The two have never met on the big screen. Gamera is a star in his own right, to date having appeared in twelve movies bearing his name. This papercraft Gamera was created by Chinpun. The Pepakura PDO template for the model may be downloaded from the Pepakura Gallery. This model is smaller than it may look. It will easily fit in the palm of your hand!

Godzilla Maser Cannon Papercraft

In twelve different movies in the Godzilla franchise, humans fight back against the kaiju from the deep using a fictional weapon called a "maser cannon". Now there is such a thing as a maser in real life, but it is used primarily in atomic clocks and not as a weapon. Maser is an acronym for Microwave Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. This paper model depicts the maser cannon that appeared in the 2002 film, Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla. The PDF template for the model was created by Shunichi Makino and may be downloaded from his website, SF Papercraft Gallery. The very first appearance of a maser cannon in a movie was in War of the Gargantuas (1966) which features two gigantic hairy "Frankensteins" battling it out in Tokyo.

I love all things Godzilla. I have seen many types of Godzilla fan art, but I have to say this is the first Godzilla origami I have seen. This paper kaiju was created by origami designer Seiji Nishikawa. Video folding instructions for the piece may be found here. A 12" x 12" (30.5 cm x 30.5 cm) square of paper is recommended. Godzilla 2014 MUTO Paper Model

The movie, Godzilla (2014), introduced a new breed of monster to the Godzilla-verse. These new monsters are referred to as “MUTOs” which is an acronym for "Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organism". It is a generic term for newly discovered monsters who have yet to be given a formal name. The pair of MUTOs in Godzilla (2014) are mates who are seeking to reproduce. This paper model of the female MUTO was created by WR Papercrafts. A download of the template for the model may be found here. Both PDF and Pepakura PDO files are included. The finished model is about 19.5" (24 cm) tall. *Spoiler Alert* Although both MUTOs died in Godzilla (2014), it is rumored that another MUTO of the same breed makes an appearance in the newly released movie, Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

Classic Godzilla Paper Model

Pictured is a paper model of Godzilla as he appeared in the movies of the 60s and 70s. This model is one of five kaiju papercraft that were offered as free downloads by the Epson Company in 2014 to celebrate the release of the 30th film in the Godzilla movie franchise. Mothra Paper Model

Here is yet another in Epson's Godzilla papercraft series. It's Mothra! I like the fact the finished display includes both the larvae stage and the full grown Mothra. An PDF papercraft template for the model may be downloaded here. Along with Rodan and King Gidorah, Mothra is rumored to be a character in the Godzilla 2 movie scheduled for release in 2019.

King Ghidorah Paper Model

The dragon kaiju, King Ghidorah, first appeared in the 1964 Godzilla movie, Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster. To date, the golden, hydra-like monster has appeared in eleven different movies. This paper model of King Ghidorah was released in 2014 by the Epson company as a promotional item to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the first Godzilla movie. Mechagodzilla Papercraft

This Epson paper model of Mechagodzilla is styled after how the robot lizard appeared in the 1974 movie, Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla. To date, the character Mechagodzilla has shown up in five Godzilla movies, the most recent being 2003's Godzilla: Tokoyo S.O.S. Normally Epson's kaiju paper models are available only by printing directly from the Epson website to an Epson printer. However, as luck would have it for those without an Epson printer, a PDF version of this model may be found here.

Godzilla 2014 Paper Model

Earlier this year, in conjunction with the release of the 2014 Godzilla movie, the Epson company added a fifth model to their series of Godzilla papercraft. The new model is patterned after Godzilla's updated appearance in the movie. Cute Kaiju Paper Toy

An unfolded version of this cute kaiju paper toy was handed out to the first 100 people through the doors of ToyConUK this year. The name of this Godzilla-esque fellow is TCON. He is the official mascot of ToyConUK. A PDF template for the toy may be downloaded here.

Super Kaiju Hero Force is an original comic book series created specifically for the iPhone and iPod Touch by Crispy Comics. The series follows the adventures of three fanboys who transform into giant monsters like those seen in Godzilla movies.
