Golden Kamuy Papercraft

I really love the simple style of this chibi papercraft. However, I didn't know a thing about the Golden Kamuy manga / anime on which the papercraft is based. I had to dig some. What I found is Golden Kamuy follows the exploits of a Japanese veteran in the early years of the 20th century. The veteran's name is Saichi Sugimoto. This papercraft is of one of Sugimoto's antagonists in the series, Hyakunosuke Ogata. Villians Wiki describes Ogata as "a lone sniper, loyal only to himself." The PDF template and instructions for this papercraft may be downloaded at Muumin Craft. If the sniper rifle is not to your liking, alternate props for the figure include a rose and a coffee mug.

SD Mini Gundam Papercraft

I thought these "super deformed" mini Gundam papercraft were super cute. Pictured are the RGE-B790WC Genoace Custom and the RGE-B790 Genoace.  The models are about 2" (5 cm) tall when complete. PvZ Peashooter & Repeater Papercraft

The tower defense game Plants vs. Zombies was released in 2009. Can you believe it was that long ago?! In the game, cute but tenacious plants defend their garden against a zombie hoard. Pictured are papercraft versions of two of the shooting plants from the game: peashooter and repeater. These somewhat "chibi-fied" paper toys were created by Mayainpaper. Chibi Fullmetal Alchemist Paper Toys

I thought these Fullmetal Alchemist anime paper toys by Emanuel Franco were pretty cute, especially the Edward toy! The toys pictured in the photo left to right are Roy Mustang, Alphonse Elric, Edward Elric, and Winry Rockbell. The printable templates for these toys may be downloaded here. The first Fullmetal Alchemist anime series was released in 2003.

Chibi Batman Papercraft

I like the stern smirk on the face of this chibi Batman papercraft. His costume appears to be the traditional comic book version and not one of the versions that has appeared in movies or video games. This model was created by Paperwar in 2014. The finished figure stands about 8" (20 cm) tall. The locked Pepakura PDO template may be downloaded here. The template may be opened with Pepakura Viewer without a password. The newest movie about the Dark Knight, The Batman, was released in US theaters on March 4, 2022.

Chibi Gundam Papercraft

I must say, these are the cutest Gundam paper models I have come across. The larger figures are only 5 cm tall. Unlike most 3D papercraft, these models are constructed using color cardstock rather than printing the colors with ink on white cardstock. The PDF template for the models may be downloaded at WXY Paper. Visual instructions are included.  The Gundam franchise began in 1979 with the release of the Mobile Suit Gundam anime.

Chibi Harry Potter Papercraft

I haven't come across a better collection of papercraft Harry Potter characters than these "chibi" figures by Claudio Dias. Ten figures in all, the collection includes characters not typically seen in papercraft form, such as Draco Malfoy, Minerva McGonagall and Sirius Black. Chibi Naruto Papercraft

There's no denying chibi papercraft is cute, but what I like about it is, it is easier to build. ;) Here is a chibi Naruto papercraft by Warzonefury. I really like the figure's stance and facial expression. The finished model is 12" (30 cm) tall. The template is available in Pepakura PDO format only and may be downloaded here. The first Naruto anime premiered in Japan in 2002.

Chibi Breath of the Wild Link Papercraft

Out of the papercraft that has been released for the new Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild video game, this Link model has to be my favorite.  Given the style of this papercraft, it might look like a model from the 2002 Wind Waker game, but it is actually a chibi version of how an adult Link appears in the newest game. A download of the template may be found here. Breath of the Wild was released in 2017.

Chibi Hulkbuster Iron Man Paper Model

Iron Man's hulkbuster armor first appeared in Marvel comic books in 1994 and has been popular with fans ever since. The hulkbuster armor is composed of exo-skeleton add-ons to Iron Man's regular armor that increase the strength of his suit to the point he is able to go toe to toe with the Incredible Hulk. This Chibi (or some would say "super deformed") paper model by Carlos Eduardo André is based on how the Hulkbuster armor appeared in the Marvel movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron. Chibi Princess Bubblegum Papercraft

This chibi-style Princess Bubblegum papercraft was created by DeviantART member, ELJOEYDESIGNS. Of all the Adventure Time princesses, PB is Finn the Human's strongest love interest. Having been formed from a mass of mutated bubblegum just after the Mushroom War, Princess Bubblegum is nearly a thousand years old. Doesn't look it, does she? Naruto Uzumaki Papercaft

This Naruto paper model is a nice change of pace in that it was created from scratch rather than being based on a 3D model ripped from a video game like most papercraft figures are these days. Chibi FFVII Sephiroth Papercraft

Sephiroth, a popular antagonist in the Final Fantasy extended universe, is immediately recognizable by the seven foot long kantana blade he wields. This chibi paper model of Sephiroth was created by Paper Juke. A Pepakura PDO template for the model may be downloaded here. Sephiroth's first appearance was in the 1997 Final Fantasy VII video game. These chibi paper toys of Jesse and James of Pokemon's Team Rocket are the work of papercraft creator, Skele-kitty. Skele-kitty used BuddyPoke 3D avatar software to create the toys. Chibi Disney Beauty and the Beast Papercraft

The 1991 animated film, Beauty and the Beast was a first for Disney in a couple of different ways. It was the first animated film to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture. It was also Disney's first film to be adapted into a Broadway musical. These chibi (i.e. small, cute) paper models of Beauty and the Beast's namesake characters were created by PaperMike. Chibi Papercraft Pikachu Babies

I wasn't quite sure what to call these papercraft cuties I found, but I settled on calling them "babies" because it looks like they are wearing diapers. The cuteness factor is increased by the fact each babe is wearing a Pikachu hoodie - just like my daughter's real life Pikachu hoodie, but with an added tail! The download for this papercraft includes photo instructions and a JPG template with an alternate face and hair.

Eleven Chibi Paper Toy Incarnations of Doctor Who

The Time Lords in the Doctor Who television show have the ability to regenerate a new body when critically injured. Doctor Who, being a Time Lord, has regenerated eleven times in the history of the series. DeviantART member Rabenstolz has created chibi paper toys of each of the eleven doctors. Rozen Maiden Papercraft: Chibi Souseiseki

The storyline of the Rozen Maiden anime involves living dolls who fight one another in the "Alice Game". This papercraft is a chibi version of the fourth Rozen Maiden doll, Souseiseki. Souseiseki fights with a pair of scissors and has the power to enter other's dreams. The papercraft template for Souseiseki was created by Kudan and may be downloaded here.

Chibiterasu Papercraft

Here is an awesome Chibiterasu papercraft by Lyrin-83, one of the most talented papercrafters on DeviantART (in my humble opinion ^^). Lyrin created the 3D model and the textures for the papercraft template all "from scratch" rather than using a 3D model extracted from a video game. Chibiterasu is the young wolf from the Nintendo DS game Okamiden which is a sequel to the Playstation 2 and Wii game, Okami. Lyrin has provided a link to the template for this paper model here.
