Life Size Velociraptor Skeleton Papercraft

Velociraptor Skeleton Bastelbogen
DeviantART member Gedelgo is a master at creating low poly papercraft. Completed in 2015, I consider this life size velociraptor skeleton to be his most ambitious project. From nose to tail, the model is 6.6' (2 M) in length. Constructing the model is a challenge. First, there are no instructions. Second, the model will not stand on its own and must be rigged with wire in order for it to hold together. Heavy cardstock or cardboard are recommended as the construction material. If you dare attempt build this model, the template is still available at Pepakura Gallery. The download includes both PDF and Pepakura PDO files.

Halloween Skeleton Paper Toy

Halloween Skeleton Bastelbogen
Here is another great Halloween paper toy from Salazad! It is a skeleton named "Boogie." Boogie's story goes as follows:

"On Halloween night, Boogie comes out of his grave and dances the groovy dance. He moves his bones to the beat of the music, and he always has a big smile on his face. Boogie is the life of the party, and everyone loves to see him boogie down."

Boogie is intended to be a hanging decoration. So, both his head and body are double sided, because as we know, hanging decoration have a habit of spinning around. ;) The printable PDF template for this fun skeleton may be downloaded at salazad.com

Origami Skeleton Hand

Good Halloween origami designs are hard to come by, so I was happy to find this wonderful skeleton hand.  The original folding pattern for the hand was created by Jeremy Shafer. An excellent instructional video by Jo Nakashima on how to fold the hand may be found here. The build photo is by Jessica Jones.

Cute Printable Paper Skeleton

Halloween is nearly upon us! If your tastes in Halloween decorations lean toward the cute side, then this printable paper skeleton is just the thing for you. Metal brads make the skeleton pose-able, but if brads are not to be found, the little fellow can be glued in whatever position you like. This papercraft was designed by Teresa Levy and may be downloaded here.
