Marvel Spider-Ham Paper Model

In one corner of the Marvel Comics multiverse is a universe of anthropomorphic animals. In this universe there are super-heroes that are parodies of  heroes in the main Marvel universe. One such hero is Spider-Ham, a spider named Peter who is bitten by a radioactive pig. Peter transforms into a pig himself, but retains his spider abilities. This paper model likeness of Spider-Ham was created by Rock-Paper. PDF and Pepakura PDO templates may be downloaded here. Other super powered animals in Spider-Ham's world include Ducktor Doom, Captain Americat, Iron Mouse, and Hulk Bunny.

Cute Papercraft Piggy Bank

This cute papercraft piggy bank is named "Shnekel" after the nickname for an Israeli coin.  Traditional piggy banks must be broken in order to get the coins out. This bank, however, must be cut with scissors. Denise, who lives in Israel, created the piggy in 2008. Its template may be downloaded here.

Robo Battle Pigs Paper Toy

Robo Battle Pigs is a simple game created by Randy Cox for a game design competition in 2001. The game is played on a standard chess or checker board and involves two or more mechanical pigs battling it out with lasers and powerful robot fists. After the game gained a following, illustrator Andy Kurzen designed a Robo Battle Pigs paper toy that may be used as a game piece. Papercraft Animals #1

My daughter wanted animals as decorations on her birthday cake. These are a few I built for the occasion. Each one is constructed out of 110 lb (200 gsm) cardstock, although using something less stiff might have been easier due to their curving construction. To keep their paper feet from getting ruined by the icing I designed a cake top platform for them to sit on. With some modifications I may post the platform later as a download. All the animals pictured were designed by Tetsuya Watabe, Japan, 2007-2008 and can be found here.
