Indiana Jones Mk VII Tank Paper Model

The Mark VII was the one of largest tanks produced by Britain during World War I. Only three of the tanks were ever built, but despite its rarity, the Mark VII gained a level of renown after a replica of the tank was used in the 1989 movie, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. The armament of the real life Mark VII included two side turrets with 6-pounder guns as well as seven machine guns. The movie version of the tank had an added rotating gun turret on top which was not typical. Pictured is a paper model of the Last Crusade tank designed by Dave Winfield. Fokker DR1 Paper Model

This relatively simple paper model of a Fokker DR1 triplane is the work of the late, great Italian designer Fabrizio Prudenziati. The World War 1 aircraft's fame in the history of aviation is due to its use by the Red Baron, Germany's top flying ace of the war. The single page template for the model may be downloaded here. Vintage Ocean Liner Paper Model

At first glance you might think this 1910 ocean liner paper model is the RMS Titanic, but it is actually another ship from the same time period: the SS Kronprinzessin Cecilie. Originally a German ship, the Cecilie was eventually taken over by the US Navy and renamed the USS Mount Vernon. The Mount Vernon served as a troop transport during World War 1 until she was torpedoed in 1918. A scan of the template for the model may be downloaded for free here. Papercraft Renault FT Tank

The Renault FT tank was developed by France during World War I. The FT continued to be used by the French military up through the mid-1940's, although by that time it was vastly inferior to the World War II era tanks it was up against. The FT is notable for being the first tank to have a rotating turret. This paper model FZ-17 was created by French model builder Buzuc using Adobe Illustrator. The JPG template is available here.

Indiana Jones Papercraft: Webley Mk VI Revolver

Indiana Jones' weapon of choice in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is a Webley Mk VI revolver.  Although the movie takes place in 1938, the Mk VI is an older weapon which, starting in 1915, was issued as the standard sidearm for British troops during World War I. My papercraft rendition of the revolver takes some "artistic liberties" in the name of making the paper model easier to build , but I worked hard to keep the 1:1 scale of the gun accurate. World War I Tank Paper Model

The Ford 3-Ton M1918 was one of but a handful of tank models that the US produced during World War I. The tank carried a two man crew, could travel at a whopping 8 mph, and was armed with a single machine gun. This papercraft version of the Ford 3-Ton, created by Joseph A. Golden, is intended to recall the paper toys that were printed on the backs of cereal boxes in days gone by. This tank is available here.

World War 1 Tank Papercraft

Tanks were considered high tech weaponry during World War 1. However, to modern eyes the tanks developed during "the War to End All Wars" have an odd, almost Steampunk look. These papercraft are two of several 1:72 scale WW1 models created in 2006 by Clifton W. McCullough. Pictured on top is a British Mark IV heavy tank. Below is a German A7V heavy tank.
