Chromehounds Sal Kar Papercraft
Nearly 20 years ago, the Japanese papercraft designer, Chokipeta Kobo, produced three promotional paper models for the Sega video game, Chromehounds, which is a mech simulator game. Pictured is one of the three mech models Kobo created: a Sal Kar mech. The Kingdom of Sal Kar is a fictional desert country that appears in the game. The PDF template and instructions for this model may be downloaded here. The instructions are available here. In 2021, I posted another of the three models, a Morskoj mech. The post is located here.

Chromehounds Morskoj Mech Papercraft
In 2006, Sega released a video game called Chromehounds for Xbox 360. The game's storyline involves warring factions who battle using mechs known as "hounds". Each of the factions has their own unique style of hound. Pictured is a promotional paper model released by Sega of the type of mech used by the Republic of Morskoj. The PDF template for this model may be downloaded here. Instructions are located here. The factions in Chromehounds are located in a fictional region located near the Black Sea.
