Dragon Ball Z Papercraft: Mosco

Dragon Ball Z Roboter Bastelbogen
I must admit my ignorance. I never knew there were any robots in the Dragon Ball Z franchise! Apparently, there are more than a few. This colorful paper model depicts the robot named "Mosco". As there is a pilot inside, calling Mosco a robot is something of a misnomer. The pilot is a small impish being known as "Mule". Mule pilots the mechanical suit from inside the belly where he can see out through a small window. PDF and Pepakura PDO templates for this papercraft may be downloaded at the JAV-Papercraft website.

DBZ Papercraft: Life Size Vegeta

Dragon Ball Z Vegeta Bastelbogen
It's been a while since I posted a Dragonball Z papercraft. This one's sure to please. It's a life size model of Vegeta from PaperJuke!  Now the question is, how tall is "life size"? The Dragon Ball wiki states that Vegeta is 5'-4" (164 cm) tall. Juke's model, however, is 6'-3" (190 cm) tall, but that includes 11" (26 cm) of hair, so I think Juke is spot on with his scaling! The template for the model may be downloaded here. The download includes both PDF and Pepakura PDO templates. Build photo by Sinsis

Dragon Ball Z Nappa Papercraft

In the Dragon Ball Z anime, Nappa is a warrior who once was the general of the Saiyan Army on Planet Vegeta. After the destruction of his planet, Nappa worked as a soldier under Frieza, which eventually lead him to Earth. This paper model of Nappa was created by PaperJuke. The Pepakura PDO template file for the model may be downloaded here (drop down the green arrow in the upper right corner, then click on the link that has "PC" in the title).  The finished model stands about 24" (60.5 cm) tall. DBZ Papercraft: Kaio-ken Goku

In the Dragon Ball Z universe, Goku is the only fighter to successfully make use of the Kaio-ken technique. In the Dragon Ball Z anime Goku describes the attack as:
"It's like a massive upsurge of energy. Everything is heightened: power, speed, even hearing and vision improve dramatically. You sort of become a super-self. But it can only be sustained for a short time, so you have to get the job done quickly."
This paper model of Goku in Kaio-ken mode was created by Paperjuke. The Pepakura PDO for the model may be downloaded here. A base for the model is included in the download. Build photo by Sinsis

Kid Goku Papercraft

There is lots of Dragon Ball Z papercraft around, but I think this particular paper model of young Goku has a sculptural quality that many of the other Dragon Ball models lack.  In the Dragon Ball Z anime, Goku is a member of the Saiyan race who are virtually identical to humans except for their monkey-like tails.  The Pepakura PDO template for this model was created by Anderson316 and may be downloaded here. Sorry, there is no nimbus template available. :) Build photo by DeviantART member BRSpidey.

Dragon Ball Z Papercraft: Porunga

In the Dragon Ball Z universe, Porunga is a dragon from the planet Namek. Porunga may be summoned by gathering all the Namekian dragon balls in one location and speaking a password. Once summoned, Porunga grants three wishes. One of the more dramatic wished granted by the dragon occurs when the Namekian Dende asks for the Earth to be re-constructed after it was destroyed. The Pepakura PDO template for this paper model was created by Carojama Papercraft and may be downloaded here.

Dragon Ball Z Papercraft: Saiyan Chest Armor

Dragonball Armor Bastelbogen
In one episode of the Dragon Ball Z anime, Bulma the wife of Vegeta makes Saiyan chest armor for Goku, Gohan, Vegeta and Trunks. Pictured above is a full size papercraft of that armor by Dancin_Fool at 405th.com. As explained in the series, Saiyan armor is built from a thin, elastic material that expands to fit the wearer. The template for the armor is available in Pepakura PDO format only and may be downloaded here.

Dragon Ball Z Papercraft: Piccolo and Goku

Goku and Piccolo are two of the most popular characters in the Dragon Ball Z anime. Goku, an alien from Planet Vegeta, is the main character of the series. Piccolo, also an alien, starts out in the series as a villain, but eventually becomes fast friends with Goku and even trains Goku's son Gohan in the ways of fighting. These detailed papercraft models of the characters were created by Coturno Velho and their templates may be downloaded here. The build photo above is by Korean papercrafter Rarra.
