Snow White Magic Mirror Papercraft

In Disney's Snow White, the Evil Queen consults a magic mirror to obtain arcane knowledge. Imprisoned within the mirror is a mystic being known as the "Slave". This being appears in the form of a talking theater mask. Above is my build photo of a paper model of the magic mirror mask. To create this papercraft, I modified a 3D model from the Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep video game. The finished model is 1:1 scale. KH2 Treasure Chest Papercraft

For old times sake, I have added one last chest to my Kingdom Hearts 2 papercraft treasure chest series. The last time I added to the series was in 2012! This is the thirteenth chest. This particular chest is a generic chest of sorts and appears in several different areas within the game. A download of the PDF template for the chest is available here.

Kingdom Hearts Pooh Book Paper Toy

I have been toying with the idea of producing a series of book paper toys. This Kingdom Hearts Winnie the Pooh book is my first experiment.  The idea for the toys is that each would be built from a single piece and when finished would be hinged so that one can open the book and see something inside. This Pooh book paper toy is based on a book that appears in the Kingdom Hearts I video game. Inside is a map of the 100 Acre Wood where Pooh and his friends live. The finished toy stands 2.5" (6.4 cm) tall. If response to this book is good I will produce others. Future possibilities include: the Enchiridion from Adventure Time, the Book of Omens from ThunderCats, as well as books from various video games. Kingdom Hearts II Dream Shield Papercraft

In the past two years I released full scale paper models of both the Dream Sword and the Dream Rod from Kingdom Hearts II, but I never got around to producing a model of the third Dream weapon, the Dream Shield. Fortunately, Mickey103 at DeviantART has created a Dream Shield papercraft that can be used to complete the set. The shield is a little smaller in scale than my sword and rod. However, the PDO file for the shield is provided unlocked, so the template may be scaled up to match the scale of my models if desired.  The template for the shield may be downloaded here. As with the sword and rod, interior reinforcing of the model is recommended if using it for cosplay.

Kingdom Hearts 2 Papercraft: Twilight Thorn

Twilight Thorn is a boss in the Kingdom Hearts 2 video game. He is the only boss-level Nobody that is not a member of Organization XIII. This paper model of Thorn was created by Portaldragon and may be downloaded here. The download includes both PDF and Pepakura PDO templates.

Kingdom Hearts Sephiroth Papercraft

The Final Fantasy video game character Sephiroth first appeared in Final Fantasy VII. Since his first appearance, Sephiroth has been featured in several other video games, among them Kingdom Hearts and Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy. This paper model of Sephiroth wearing his KH costume is based on a 3D model from Dissidia 012.

Kingdom Hearts 2 Papercraft: Auron's Sword

The character Auron first appeared in the Final Fantasy X video game. Auron also makes an appearance in Kingdom Hearts 2. This papercraft sword is how Auron's weapon appears in KH2. The finished model is 37" (95 cm) long.  It has only 15 parts making it a fairly easy build. I intended the sword to be primarily for display, so if you want to use it for something active it will need to be reinforced on the inside. Papercraft Chernabog Mask (Fantasia)

Just in time for Halloween, DeviantARTist EuTytoAlba has created a Chernabog mask. Eh, who's Chernabog you say? Remember the massive demon-like figure in the "Night on Bald Mountain" scene in Disney's Fantasia? Yep, that's him. Chernabog also appears as a boss in the Kingdom Hearts I video game. Kingdom Hearts Papercraft: Axel's Chakram

In the Kingdom Hearts series of video games, the character Axel  uses two large chakrams as weapons. Pictured is a life size paper model of one of Axel's chakrams.  Based on a 3D model from Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix,  the chakram was created by EuTytoAlba for  use in cosplay. The template may be downloaded here. Both Pepakura PDO and PDF templates are included in the download.

Kingdom Hearts Mage Staff Papercraft

In the Kingdom Hearts video games Donald Duck is a magician and his default weapon is the Mage Staff. This full size paper model of Donald's Mage Staff was created by my papercrafter friend Skmagiik. It is his first successful papercraft creation! The template for the staff may be downloaded here.

Papercraft Kingdom Hearts Tron Bust

By my reckoning, this papercraft is my 100th release! Since one of my first paper model releases was Tron related, I wanted to do another Tron papercraft for release 100. This is a bust of Tron as he appears in the Kingdom Hearts video games. At roughly 12" (30.5 cm) tall the bust is slightly smaller than life. The download for the template is available here and includes lined and unlined PDF files and a Pepakura PDO file.

Kingdom Hearts Papercraft: Dream Rod

After completing a papercraft Dream Sword from the Kingdom Hearts II video game, I set my sights on producing paper models of the other two "dream" weapons from the game. Here at long last is another one in the set: the Dream Rod. The Dream Rod is a mystic weapon and as such it is wielded by Donald Duck, who in the game is the Royal Magician. If you observe the Dream Rod during game play its seems to be about baseball bat size, but for this model I chose to make it closer to "magic wand size" at around 24" (61 cm) long. Kingdom Hearts II Christmas Town Treasure Chest Papercraft

This is the last papercraft treasure chest I plan on doing for my Kingdom Hearts II treasure chest series. However, I might be talked into doing a couple more if there is enough interest. ;) In the KH2 video game, this treasure chest is found in the Christmas Town area which in a certain sense is a subset of the Halloween Town area. Papercraft Skull #3: KH2 Oogie's Manor

This papercraft skull is based on a 3D model of a skeleton that appears in the Oogie's Manor area of the Kingdom Hearts 2 video game. Oogie's Manor, of course, is the lair of the Oogie Boogie from Disney's Nightmare Before Christmas. The skull is presumably from one of the Oogie's victims who perished in his torture chamber. This skull reminds me of Mexican Day of the Dead skulls and I suspect it would look sweet under a black light. ;) The template for the skull may be downloaded here. KH2 Olympus Treasure Chest Papercraft

Here's another treasure chest papercraft from Kingdom Hearts 2. This chest can be found in the Olympus Coliseum area of the video game. Olympus Coliseum is based on the 1997 animated Disney movie, Hercules. The template for this treasure chest is available here. KH2 Papercraft: Halloween Town Treasure Chest

Here is October's offering in my continuing series of papercraft treasure chests from the Kingdom Hearts 2 video game. It was obvious this month that I had to do the treasure chest from the Halloween Town area of the game! ^^ Halloween Town is based on the world of Tim Burton's movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas. KH2 Papercraft: Timeless River Treasure Chest

I have completed an eighth Kingdom Hearts II treasure chest papercraft. In the KH2 video game, this treasure chest can be found in the Timeless River area. Timeless River is world from the past modeled after Disney's 1928 black and white animated short, Steamboat Willie. The template for this treasure chest may be downloaded here.

Stitch's Ray Gun Papercraft

The Disney character Stitch (from the 2002 animated movie Lilo & Stitch) appears in the Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep video game for PSP. Also called "Experiment 626", Stitch sometimes makes use of a ray gun. This paper model of Stitch's ray gun is based on a 3D model from KHBBS. The gun is full scale and measures about 7"(17.8 cm) in length. The two page, eight piece template for this papercraft may be downloaded here. KH2 Papercraft: Beast's Castle Treasure Chest

Here is treasure chest papercraft number seven in my ongoing series of Kingdom Hearts 2 treasure chests. This chest can be found in the Beast's Castle area of the the video game. The Beast's Castle area is based on the 1991 Disney movie, Beauty and the Beast. The treasure chest has a pattern of stained glass roses on the lid.
