Disney Tangled Papercraft Lantern

I was going to create a Tangled lantern myself, but someone in Korea beat me to it. Thank you! The design couldn't be simpler. It is just a single piece of cardstock glued to form a cylinder. And before anyone asks: it is not capable of flying. ^^ The lantern is lit by means of a battery powered tea light, not a candle, because everyone knows an open flame and papercraft don't mix. Right? Printable Halloween Lanterns

From Martha Stewart: printable hanging Halloween lanterns! Dear Martha, always the over-achiever, makes the construction of the lanterns more complicated than perhaps they should be (read the instructions to see what I mean), but they do look very nice. In addition to the witch and owl lanterns pictured, also available are two different cat lanterns and a moon lantern. Battery-operated votive candles provide illumination inside. Papercraft Castle Lantern

This easy-to-build papercraft castle lantern has a template with only four parts. A soft glow in the windows is achieved by covering them with tissue paper and placing a LED votive inside. The JPG template for the lantern may be downloaded at Sweet Paul.

Printable Chinese Paper Lanterns

The Disney Family Fun website offers these printable paper lanterns as a Chinese New Year item, but I think they would be pretty cool any time of the year. ^^ From the looks of the unfolded pattern, I would estimate the finished lanterns to be only about 2.5" (6.4 cm) tall. Platonic Solid Lanterns Papercraft

These geometric Christmas light covers are the work of the "playful.geometer" at Flickr. The five different covers are based on the five shapes of the Platonic Solids. The lovely patterns on each of the solids are "kaleidoscoped" fractal images. I like the paper lantern effect these have when they are lit up. Templates for each of the five are available here.
