Wolfenstein Luger Pistol Papercraft

This is my papercraft offering for the month of March (a list of previous monthly papercraft may be found here). Years ago, when I first started doing my own papercraft, I did quite a few life-size models based on simple objects in old video games. This Luger pistol from the Return to Castle Wolfenstein video game is one such model I never got around to releasing (until now). Wolfenstein is a WW2 themed game and many of the German enemies in the game carry this Luger. You will notice the game designers didn't even bother to put a trigger on the gun. ^^ The PDF template for the gun may be downloaded here.

Other Old Video Game Papercraft:

Star Wars Electrobinoculars
Klingon Knife
Half-Life 1 Frag Grenade
Tron's Helmet
Deep Space Nine PADD

Wolfenstein Panzerhund Paper Model

The video game Wolfenstein: The New Order was released in 2014. The game is set in alternate history world in which Germany won World War II. In this universe, the Nazis make use of robot dogs known as "Panzerhunde". The Wolfenstein Wiki describes these mecha hounds as "super-efficient murder machines encased in titanium steel armor and fitted with bone-crushing metal jaws that can cut through the thickest of body armor." This paper model Panzerhund was created by Chentzilla. Unlike most video game papercraft, a 3D model from the game was not utilized. The template for the model may be downloaded here. Chentzilla admits his template is "not very user-friendly" which means there are no instructions of any kind. :(

Other Wolfenstein Papercraft:
Human Skull
Tesla Gun

Papercraft Skull No. 5: Wolfenstein

I have finished another skull in my papercraft skull series! This skull is based on a 3D model from the World War II themed video game, Return to Castle Wolfenstein. In the game, skulls like this can be found (among other places) in secret rooms inside Nazi strongholds. As with the other skulls in the series, this one is roughly 1:1 scale. The template for the Wolfenstein skull may be downloaded here.

Previous skulls in the series:
AvP Human Skull
Kingdom Hearts 2 Skull
League of Legends Skull
Half-Life 1 Skull

Wolfenstein Papercraft: Tesla Gun

The first 3D first person shooter computer game I can remember playing was Wolfenstein 3D. This papercraft Tesla gun comes from the 2001 remake of the game, Return to Castle Wolfenstein. In both games the storyline involves an American soldier who attempts to escape from an underground Nazi research facility during World War 2. The Tesla gun comes in handy in the escape attempt as it fires bolts of electricity that fry enemies. This scaled down papercraft model of the gun was created by German industrial design student, Jan Kapischke. A template may be downloaded here.
