Kingdom Hearts II Dream Shield Papercraft
In the past two years I released full scale paper models of both the Dream Sword and the Dream Rod from Kingdom Hearts II, but I never got around to producing a model of the third Dream weapon, the Dream Shield. Fortunately, Mickey103 at DeviantART has created a Dream Shield papercraft that can be used to complete the set. The shield is a little smaller in scale than my sword and rod. However, the PDO file for the shield is provided unlocked, so the template may be scaled up to match the scale of my models if desired. The template for the shield may be downloaded here. As with the sword and rod, interior reinforcing of the model is recommended if using it for cosplay.

WoW Papercraft: Grand Marshal's Aegis
There has been a lot of nice papercraft models created from the 3D models in the World of Warcraft MMORPG. Here is one more to add to the list: a papercraft of the Grand Marshal's Aegis. According to Merriam-Webster's dictionary, the word "aegis" is of Greek origin and is defined as "a shield or breastplate emblematic of majesty". This model was created by Czech papercrafter, Goozi and the PDO template may be downloaded from his website here.Other papercraft by Goozi:
Radiant 7
Pinook Fighter
TIE Bomber
B-Wing

300 Papercraft: Spartan Shield
Just when I think I can't find another use for one of my papercraft templates, along comes another idea! Such was the case with this Spartan shield from the movie 300. This shield is based on the same template I used for my Tron identity disk models and also my Captain America shield model. I won't repeat the template size info again because it is the same as the previous shields. A download of the template is available here.July 30, 2009
Marvel Papercraft: Captain America's Shield
I was a little bummed two years ago when Marvel Comics killed off the original Captain America, Steve Rogers. However, as you may know, this month Marvel is bringing Rogers back in a five issue limited series entitled Captain America: Reborn. To celebrate, I did a recolor of my Tron Disc template to create a papercraft model that represents the good Captain's shield set in a stone base. Hope you enjoy it.Template Info
