Papercraft Wolf Head

It is curious why so many papercraft designers have created what amounts to life size paper models of taxidermized animal heads. Now, many of the heads are "low poly" geometric representations, but others, like this wolf head by Paper Juke are quite realistic. I assume Juke used a 3D model from some video game as the basis of this papercraft. The Pepakura PDO template for the head may be downloaded here. The finished model is about 10" (26 cm) wide.
