Bismarck Battleship Paper Model

The Bismarck was a German battleship that saw action in World War II. In its last battle in 1941, the ship was scuttled after sustaining heavy damage from British torpedo bombers and warships. This 1:400 scale paper model of the Bismarck was created by Zio Prudenziati. The PDF template for the model may be downloaded here. Only a few instructions are included in the PDF. My favorite part of this model are the tiny boats and seaplane on the deck of the ship!

Chibi Fullmetal Alchemist Paper Toys

I thought these Fullmetal Alchemist anime paper toys by Emanuel Franco were pretty cute, especially the Edward toy! The toys pictured in the photo left to right are Roy Mustang, Alphonse Elric, Edward Elric, and Winry Rockbell. The printable templates for these toys may be downloaded here. The first Fullmetal Alchemist anime series was released in 2003.

YZF-R1M Motorcycle Papercraft

This impressive 2015 YZF-R1M Motorcycle model is from Yamaha's "Ultra Realistic" series of 3D papercraft. Being ultra-realistic, this paper model uses a LOT of ink and paper! There are 914 parts to be printed on 54 sheets of cardstock. The completed model is approximately 1:5 scale. The part sheets for the model may be downloaded here.  According to Yamaha, the YZF-R1 series is "the flagship model that represents Yamaha's leading-edge technology and design philosophy".

Marvel Papercraft: Venom

Here's another well done Marvel papercraft from Paper Juke. This model is of Spider-Man's archnemesis, Venom. Standing at 15.5" (39.4 cm) tall when complete, the piece is somewhat large. The printable template for the model (which may be downloaded here) is available in Pepakura PDO format only. To create this papercraft, Paper Juke made use of a 3D model from the Marvel Future Fight video game.

G1 Transformers Papercraft: Devastator

In the Transformers universe, Devastator is an enormous Decepticon formed by combining the Constructicons. The Constructicons are robots that transform from construction equipment such as a bulldozer and a concrete mixer truck. The six Constructicons that make up Devastator are Bonecrusher, Hook, Long Haul, Mixmaster, Scavenger, and Scrapper (who is the leader). Ornate Equatorial Sundial Paper Model

This fully functional ornate sundial paper model was created by Secanda. Specifically, this is an "equatorial sundial" which the designer explains as:

"...its dial is parallel to the plane of the equator and its axis is parallel to the axis of rotation of the earth. It is therefore a kind of flat model of the terrestrial globe."

Secanda goes on to explain that a equatorial sundial is universal as it will work anywhere on the planet with no other modification than adjustments to the orientation and inclination of the disc. Gypsy Wagon Papercraft

The wagons used by European Gypsies go by many names: caravan, vardo or simply "living wagon". The wagon pictured is a paper model of Madam Eva's caravan from the Neverwinter: Revenloft video game.  This free printable papercraft was released to promote the release of the game in 2016. The PDF template for the wagon is still available and may be downloaded here. As you might guess, Madam Eva is a fortune teller in the game.

Papercraft Treasure Chests With Gold Bricks

I love papercraft treasure chests! Especially when they come with golden treasure inside! These particular chests are just about the right size to be used as props for role playing games or miniature gaming. The larger chest is about 2" tall. The smaller is about 1" tall. Military Hummer Papercraft

This military Hummer paper model is one of several papercraft cars designed by Kim Shinozaki for Daytona, a Japanese car magazine that showcases American cars. The papercraft template for this "AMGC Hummer" was originally published sometime in the 90's (I think) in issue 56 of Daytona. A scan of the template may be found here. The scale of the finished model is 1/27.

Home Alone House Paper Model

Happy new year! We are a week past Christmas, but I figured it wasn't too late to post this paper model of the house from the 1990 movie, Home Alone. This papercraft was created in 2020 by Tekzo at Paperhobby to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film. The model is 1:100 scale and includes several cars seen in the movie, as well as 2D character cutouts of Kevin, Marv and Harry. The PDF template for the model may be downloaded here.
