Tron Ares Identity Disc Papercraft

Tron Ares Bastelbogen
I have posted my own papercraft designs for every Tron movie to date, so you know I had to release something for the new Tron: Ares movie. ;) Here is my offering: an 1:1 scale identity disc model. Unlike the identity discs in the previous Tron movies, the Ares disc is triangular rather than circular. The printable papercraft template for this model may be downloaded from MediaFire. I have included a locked Pepakura PDO file as a construction reference. If you are interested in the previous Tron papercraft I have been posting since 2009, click on this link ---> HERE.

Easy Tron Recognizer Papercraft

Easy Tron Recognizer Bastelbogen
A new Tron movie (Tron: Ares) will be here on October 10th! I can hardly wait! Over the years, I have released several paper models from both the 1982 Tron movie and the 2010 Tron: Legacy movie, as well as the 2003 Tron 2.0 video game. I intend to do at least one Tron: Ares papercraft, so stay tuned. In the mean time, here is a Tron papercraft I somehow overlooked until today: an easy "recognizer" from the original Tron movie. The template for the model may be download from Paperfoldables.

Some Previous Tron Papercraft:

Sam's Identity Disc
Full Size Tron 1982 Helmet
The Three Forms of Bit
Rinzler Identity Disc
Kingdom Hearts Tron Bust

Tron Legacy Papercraft: Kevin Flynn Identity Disc

At long last I created a paper model of Kevin Flynn's identity disc to add to my series of papercraft Tron: Legacy discs. I saved the hardest for last. It was tough to make a white on white texture that looked correct. If you build one, you may need to experiment with the darkness settings on your printer to get the right level of contrast. The A4 and Letter size templates may be downloaded here. Kevin Flynn's disc plays an important part in the story line of Tron: Legacy.

Previous Discs in the Series:
Sam's Identity Disc
Rinzler's Identity Disc
Clu's Identity Disc

Printable Tron Light Cycle Game

Created as a piece of Tron fan art by graphic designer David Landis, these papercraft light cycles may be used to play a table top game. The PDF download offered by Landis contains enough pieces for up to five people. The only other item needed for game play is a six sided die. Don't have a die handy? Try building one out of paper!

Papercraft Kingdom Hearts Tron Bust

By my reckoning, this papercraft is my 100th release! Since one of my first paper model releases was Tron related, I wanted to do another Tron papercraft for release 100. This is a bust of Tron as he appears in the Kingdom Hearts video games. At roughly 12" (30.5 cm) tall the bust is slightly smaller than life. The download for the template is available here and includes lined and unlined PDF files and a Pepakura PDO file.

Space Paranoids Arcade Cabinet Papercraft (Tron)

Here's a paper model by Cyberdrone of a fictional arcade cabinet for a fictional video game. ^^ The video game Space Paranoids appeared in the original Tron movie, but was never produced in real life (that is, if you don't include the custom cabinets at Flynn's Arcade in San Diego). Just the right scale for action figures, Cyberdrone's papercraft model of the Space Paranoids cabinet is based on the glue-less Cubeecraft method of construction. The template for the video coin-op may be downloaded here.
