PvZ Peashooter & Repeater Papercraft

The tower defense game Plants vs. Zombies was released in 2009. Can you believe it was that long ago?! In the game, cute but tenacious plants defend their garden against a zombie hoard. Pictured are papercraft versions of two of the shooting plants from the game: peashooter and repeater. These somewhat "chibi-fied" paper toys were created by Mayainpaper. Iron Man Mk 33 Armor Paper Model

In the Iron Man 3 movie, Tony Stark commands his artificial intelligence, J.A.R.V.I.S, to remotely pilot his empty suits of armor as a defensive measure in a battle. One of the suits activated was the Mark XXXIII (a.k.a the Silver Centurion armor). This paper model represents how the armor appeared in the movie. The template for the model, which is in Pepakura PDO format only, may be found at this download link. The finished model stands 19.7" (50 cm) tall. Build photo and papercraft design by Sinsis. The first appearance of the Silver Centurion armor in a Marvel comic was in 1985 in issue #200 of Iron Man.

Nefertiti Bust Paper Model

Nefertiti was a queen who ruled in Egypt around 1350 BC. Her name was made famous because of a beautiful bust of her likeness that now resides in the Neues Museum in Berlin. Making use of a 3D scan, this paper model of the bust was created by BioM5. The printable templates required to build the bust are in Pepakura PDO format and may be found at Instructables.com. Nefertiti was the stepmother of King Tutankhamun, another famous name in the world of Egyptology.

One Piece Blackbeard Pirates Ship

As you may know, the One Piece anime is all about pirates. In the earlier episodes of the show, the group known as the Blackbeard Pirates makes use of a ship that appears to be a simple raft. Upon closer inspection however, it can be seen that the "raft" is built of redwood sized logs that have been hollowed out. Gun ports line every side. This papercraft likeness of the ship was created by GoPaper. The PNG format template may be found at this download link. Sorry folks, no instructions for this model! It should be easy enough to figure out, though, if you reference the photos while you build.

FNaF 1 Papercraft

In the genre of horror video games, none is more popular than the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise. The games task the player to survive the night without getting caught by a host of creepy animatronic animals come to life.  Pictured are paper models of all the animatronic characters from the first video game in the series. From left to right we have Foxy the Pirate Fox, Bonnie the Bunny, Freddy Fazbear, Golden Freddy, Chica the Chicken, and Carl the Cupcake. Shark Head Papercraft

This shark head is a little more realistic that your typical low poly papercraft wall hanging. However, as it is still composed of angular shapes, it makes for a relatively easy build. The finished model is around 20"(50 cm) high. If the model is considered to be life size, it would be close to the size of a small to medium sized shark. The Pepakura PDO template for the model may be downloaded on this webpage. The creator of this papercraft is Longbow.

SpongeBob Papercraft: The Krusty Krab

In the world of SpongeBob SquarePants, the best fast food restaurant around is The Krusty Krab. Their famous Krabby Patty burgers are cooked by SpongeBob himself, who is the fry cook for the establishment. This paper model of the Krab was created by Luis Paraqueimo. The template for the model is available in Pepakura PDO format only and may be downloaded here. The finished restaurant building is about 12" (30 cm) long.

Skyrim Papercraft: Glass Sword

The last time I posted a Skyrim papercraft was 2015. I am overdue! Pictured is a 1:1 scale paper model of a glass sword from the video game. How can a sword be made of glass you say? The Elder Scrolls Wiki explains:

"Despite their name, 'glass' weapons are not made of actual glass, but of refined Malachite, a strong, glass-like green stone which can be sharpened to a fine edge..."

This model was created by Broken Papercrafts. The template is available in Pepakura PDO format only and may be downloaded here. The download includes two textures, one to make a green bladed sword, and another to make one that is blue bladed (pictured).

Zoids Liger Zero Papercraft

Liger Zero has a long history in the Zoids franchise. The Hasbro company produced snap-together plastic model kits of Liger Zero in 1999. He is the central character in two different anime series: Zoids: New Century (2001) and Zoids: Fuzors (2004).  This papercraft Liger Zero was created by Paperzero Papercraft. Video instructions and the PDF template may be found here. Liger Zero's signature attack is "Strike Laser Claw".

Low Poly Deer Skull Papercraft

Here's another great low poly papercraft skull from Gedelgo! This time it is a life-size deer skull. It's just the thing to hang over the fireplace in the hunting lodge. ;) The template is all white. If color is desired, then color cardstock must be used. For example, in the photo, the antlers were printed on black cardstock.
