Life Size Velociraptor Skeleton Papercraft

DeviantART member Gedelgo is a master at creating low poly papercraft. Completed in 2015, I consider this life size velociraptor skeleton to be his most ambitious project. From nose to tail, the model is 6.6' (2 M) in length. Constructing the model is a challenge. First, there are no instructions. Second, the model will not stand on its own and must be rigged with wire in order for it to hold together. Heavy cardstock or cardboard are recommended as the construction material. Printable Treehouse Playset

I was captivated by this printable treehouse playset offered on the Brother Creative Center website. My children would have really been into something like this when they were younger. The three level treehouse has a room (complete with furniture!) on each level. Think of it as a stackable dollhouse. The six residents of the dollhouse are deer, rabbits, and owls. Hats off to Brother for creating such an imaginative papercraft!

Papercraft Christmas Village Advent Calendar

It's that time of year when people like to to do holiday craft projects. I like this papercraft project by the Woo! Jr Kids Activities website because it combines two Christmas traditions into one. First, it is an advent calendar. Second, it is a Christmas village. Another cool feature of this printable is it comes in both a pre-colored version and a color-it-yourself version. Happy crafting!
