This 1:150 scale paper model is a reconstruction of Mstěnice Castle, a medieval fortress that once stood near the town of Hrotovice in the Czech Republic. The castle and nearby village were destroyed when Hungarian forces invaded the area in 1468. Neither the castle nor the village were ever rebuilt. The paper model design is based on recent archaeological findings. A free papercraft template for the fortress in PDF format may be downloaded
here. Like every good castle, Mstěnice Castle is thought to have had a moat and drawbridge. :)
