LoL Volibear Papercraft

Volibear is a playable character in the League of Legends video game. Volibear is a demigod who is worshiped by the Ursine, a race of bear-like warriors. This paper model of Volibear depicts the original appearance of the character before he was revised in 2020 to have less armor. LoL Papercraft: Battle Bunny Riven

It's been a while since I posted any League of Legends papercraft. Here's a model that tickles my fancy. In the LoL video game, there are different  "skins" that may be purchased for a character. The Battle Bunny skin is one option for the female character, Riven. As you might guess, the skin was inspired by the outfits worn by Playboy Bunnies. This 10" (25.5 cm) tall paper model of Battle Bunny Riven was created by DeviantART member Portaldragon. The template may be downloaded here. The download includes both Pepakura PDO and PDF files. League of Legends Teemo Papercraft

Teemo is one of several playable champions in the League of Legends video game. Teemo is a Yordle. Yordles live in a mystical place called Bandle City. In appearance they resemble small, furry mammals standing just under one meter tall. This Teemo paper model is the creation of DeviantART member Zhefiroth. Papercraft League of Legends Wolf Build Photos

In 2012 I released a template for a papercraft League of Legends wolf. I never had a chance to build the model, so I was happy to find these build photos by DeviantART member JanZonderVrees. Jan did a great job! The template for the model was originally designed by Portaldragon. The League of Legends video game was introduced in 2009.

League of Legends Paper Toy: Ziggs

This paper toy of the League of Legends character, Ziggs, was created by artist Jarrett Quon. The toy is intended to be able to balance on string or wire, using the two bombs as ballast. Jarrett based his design on Sal Azad's "Acrobat Monkey" paper toy. A download of the template for the toy may be found here. In the League of Legends video game, Ziggs is a demolitions expert who invents a line of powerful bombs he calls "hexplosives".

LoL Papercraft: Sight & Vision Wards

Since the time I released my League of Legends sight ward papercraft, Riot Games has revamped the look of the game. Here are some papercraft replicas of the new sight and vision wards as they now appear in the game. Compared to the old wards, the wings are more organic looking and the crystals on top are broken rather than whole. The templates for these paper models were created by Portaldragon and may be downloaded here.

League of Legends Wolf Papercraft

My papercrafter friend Portaldragon did me a huge favor. He unfolded a wolf from League of Legends for me. The finished wolf paper model measures around 12" (30.5 cm) from tip of nose to tip of tail. A download of the wolf is available here. Contained in the download are A4 and Letter size templates in both Pepakura PDO and PDF formats. In the LoL video game, wolves are neutral and described as "A fast monster with an increased chance to critically strike its target".

League of Legends Shaco Papercraft

Shaco is an evil jester in the League of Legends video game who has some obvious similarities to the Joker from the Batman franchise. This papercraft Shaco is by Portaldragon who also brought us a Tibbers papercraft from LoL. The Pepakura PDO and PDF templates for Shaco are available here.

League of Legends Purple Melee Minion Papercraft

I am glad to see more people are creating League of Legends papercraft. The video game has some awesome 3D models. This LOL Purple Melee Minion papercraft by Malica looks like a Jawa with a bad attitude. ^^ Malica has an A4 size Pepakura PDO file posted here. But as the hosting site where the PDO is posted is known to give files a short shelf life, I have taken the liberty of saving a modified copy of the template in Letter size here (I have included both a PDF and a PDO file).

League of Legends Papercraft: Tibbers

Portaldragon, a papercrafter friend of mine at DeviantART, has started creating some papercraft models of characters from the League of Legends video game. First up, we have a paper model of Tibbers the bear. According to the League of Legend Wiki:

"Tibbers is a shadow bear, a ferocious denizen of the petrified forests in the Voodoo Lands...  He was later tamed by Annie The Dark Child, turning him into her pet. To this day Tibbers remains by her side, spellbound as a stuffed doll to be carried like a child's toy." 

Portaldragon has put together both PDO and PDF templates for Tibbers. The templates may be downloaded here. 

League of Legends Papercraft: Sight Ward

In the League of Legends video game, sight wards are consumable objects that place an invisible ward that reveals the area surrounding their location. I created this papercraft sight ward for no reason other than I liked its shape. ^^ It is one of the smallest models I have done and measures only 5" (12.7 cm) tall. The one page PDF template may be downloaded here. Previously, I built a skull and a shuriken paper model from LOL.

League of Legends Papercraft: Kennen Shuriken

Since I am posting on Christmas Eve, you might mistake this shuriken papercraft for a Christmas star. ^^ But no, this is the weapon of Kennen, a ninja in the League of Legends video game. The official League of Legends website describes Kennen as follows:

"There exists an ancient order originating in the Ionian Isles dedicated to the preservation of balance...This order is known as the Kinkou and it employs a triumvirate of shadow warriors to uphold its causes in the world. Kennen is one of these shadow warriors, entrusted with the sacred duty of Coursing the Sun - tirelessly conveying the justice of the Kinkou."

The finished papercraft measures 8" (20.3 cm) tip to tip. The template may be downloaded here.

Papercraft Skull #2: League of Legends

My second video game skull papercraft is complete! This skull appears in the shop in the League of Legends video game. League of Legends is a online real-time strategy (RTS) video game which was inspired by Warcraft III. The size of this skull matches the size of the 1:1 scale Half-Life skull paper model I released previously. The PDF template for the LoL skull may be downloaded here.
