Vintage Disney: Cinderella Castle Paper Model
The German website "Seite 42" (Page 42) has hundreds of scans of paper model templates from old Disney magazines. This 1978 Cinderella Castle is one of the more elaborate of the models. The six part download of the template may be found here. If you don't know German, you will have to make do with the diagrams, photos, and numbers in order to complete the model. Papercraft Episode VII Stormtrooper Helmet
It always amazes me how fast papercraft fan art gets posted on the Internet! With only two teaser trailers out for reference, here already is a paper model of the new style stormtrooper helmet from Star Wars Episode VII. There two sizes of the helmet available: a full scale version and a smaller version appropriate for a desktop display. The templates may be downloaded here and here. Episode VII: The Force Awakes is scheduled to open in theaters in December 2015.

For old times sake, I have added one last chest to my Kingdom Hearts 2 papercraft treasure chest series. The last time I added to the series was in 2012! This is the thirteenth chest. This particular chest is a generic chest of sorts and appears in several different areas within the game. A download of the PDF template for the chest is available here.

Big Hero 6 Jumping Jack Paper Toys
Illustrator M. Gulin creates jumping jack paper toys as his own unique brand of fan art. This Baymax jumping jack is Gulin's homage to the 2014 Disney movie Big Hero 6. There are two different Baymax toys available, one with armor and one without. Templates for both toys may be downloaded here. Big Hero 6 was the first Disney movie to feature Marvel Comics characters after Disney purchased Marvel in 2009.

Papercraft Koi Diorama
The Akafuku tea house in Ise, Japan was established in 1707 to serve those visiting the Ise Grand Shrine, an important Shinto religious site. The Akafuku tea company also happens to offer free papercraft on their website! My favorite of their offerings is this koi diorama. Despite appearing life size, each fish is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. The diorama and other paper models related to the tea house and the Ise shrine may be downloaded here.

LotR Papercraft: Bilbo's Sword Sting
In The Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins finds his trusty sword "Sting" in a pile of treasure horded by trolls. Sting is actually an Elf dagger, but to Bilbo, a halfling, the dagger is large enough to be used as a sword. This life-size papercraft recreation of the movie version of Sting is the work of DeviantARTist hugo-drax. The Pepakura PDO template for the model may be downloaded here. The template for the sword includes a matching sheath.

Papercraft Jedi Interceptors for Miniature Gaming
After noticing Momir Farooq's collection of paper Star Wars vehicles didn't include Jedi Interceptors, Wayne Peters decided to create some Interceptors of his own. Wayne designed eight different models in all. Paint schemes for the models were derived from schemes found on toy Interceptors and the Interceptors seen in Star Wars Episode III. A free download of Wayne's PDF templates is available here. As with Momir Farooq's collection, these tiny models are designed to be used in Star Wars miniature gaming.

T-Rex Illusion Papercraft
Here is another twist on the ever-popular dragon illusion papercraft (you know, the one whose head appears to turn toward you as you move around the room?). This version is a tyrannosaurus rex. Not much different from the original dragon, but the thing that makes this one special is its size. Estimating by the television in the background, this baby appears to be at least 3' tall! As you will see in the video after the jump, an illusion this large requires cardboard construction rather than mere cardstock. The author offers downloads of the template for the t-rex (normal-sized) at his Youtube page here. There are three different colors available: green, red, and blue.

Studio Ghibli Papercraft: Catbus
This papercraft Catbus was released by POdragon four years ago, but this is the first photo I have come across that actually shows the completed model. The Catbus (Japanese: "Nekobasu") is a character in the 1988 Studio Ghibli animated classic, My Neighbor Totoro. Although some have argued the point, it is obvious from certain frames in the movie that the Catbus is male. ;) Templates for the model may be downloaded here.
