Disney Infinity Spider-Man Papercraft

The Disney Infinity video game is unique in that it includes real world 3D figures of the characters in the game. The characters come from worlds of Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar. The model in the photo is a papercraft version of the Spider-Man figure from the game. PDF and Pepakura PDO templates for the model may be downloaded at www.zoneactivitemanuelle.com. The templates include a base (not shown) as well as an alternate black costume version of Spider-Man. Including the base, the finished model is 16.5" (42 cm) tall. Sorry, no instructions are available, aside from the PDO file. Disney Infinity stopped being produced in 2016.

Spider-Man Far from Home Papercraft

This Spider-Man paper model was released by the Indonesian papercraft website, Peri Kertas, in 2019. The model depicts the costume Spidey wears in the movie, Spider-Man: Far from Home. While the pose of this figure is not all that dynamic, what makes this papercraft interesting is that it comes with an optional head without the mask. And yes, the unmasked face has a striking resemblance to actor Tom Holland who plays the wall crawler. :) The PDF and Pepakura PDO instructions for the model may be downloaded here.

Low Poly Spider-Man Wall Art

There is a lot of low poly papercraft on the Internet these days. Most of it, you have to pay to get it. So, I was delighted to find this free low poly Spider-Man wall sculpture recently. This is one of those paper models where you achieve color by printing a colorless template onto color cardstock.  Notice the chrome cardstock used for the eyes! If this papercraft is not life sized, it is close to it. The template and instructions may be found at Lacrafta. PS4 Spider-Man Papercraft

This paper model is of Spider-Man as he appears in the 2018 Playstation 4 game, Spider-Man. The wall-crawling super hero has dozens of costumes he may be fitted with in the game. Most are based on outfits Spidey wore in the comic books, however this particular costume was created specifically for the game. The Pepakura PDO template for this model may be downloaded here. Marvel Papercraft: Iron Spider

In Marvel Comic's "Civil War" storyline, Tony Stark creates for Spider-Man a new costume which Stark calls the "Iron Spider" armor. The costume possesses mechanical arms attached to the back. In homage to the popular comic book storyline, a similar Spider-Man costume appeared in the movie Avengers: Infinity War. Marvel Spider-Ham Paper Model

In one corner of the Marvel Comics multiverse is a universe of anthropomorphic animals. In this universe there are super-heroes that are parodies of  heroes in the main Marvel universe. One such hero is Spider-Ham, a spider named Peter who is bitten by a radioactive pig. Peter transforms into a pig himself, but retains his spider abilities. This paper model likeness of Spider-Ham was created by Rock-Paper. PDF and Pepakura PDO templates may be downloaded here. Other super powered animals in Spider-Ham's world include Ducktor Doom, Captain Americat, Iron Mouse, and Hulk Bunny.

Printable Marvel Superhero Treat Boxes

These DIY Marvel superhero treat boxes would be a hit at a child's birthday party for sure, but they would work great for most any holiday or celebration with Marvel Comics fans in attendance. The boxes are a fan art creation by illustrator M. Gulin. Free PDF templates for the boxes may be downloaded here. For the non-Marvel fan, depicted on the boxes are Spider-Man, Captain America, and Iron Man.

Printable Marvel Jumping Jack Toys

A jumping jack is a jointed paper toy character attached to a string such that when the string is pulled the character appears to be jumping. M. Gulan has created a whole slew of Marvel Comics jumping jacks including Captain America, The Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Spider-Man, and Wolverine (not pictured). PDF templates for each of the heroes may be downloaded here. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but Black Widow and Spidey look like they could use a few jumping jacks. They may have put on a little extra weight since the last time I saw them. ;)

Spider-Man Papercraft: Doctor Octopus

Xavier Gale-Sides brings us another excellent Marvel Comics papercraft. This time it is the character Doctor Octopus. Doc Ock is one of  Spider-Man's earliest foes, first appearing in Amazing Spider-Man #3 back in 1963. This paper toy is based on the appearance Doctor Octopus took in the Spider-Man 2 movie. Comic Book Character Mask Series - Part 2
As I mentioned last week in my Spider-Man mask post, I have decided to attempt a series of comic book character masks based on re-colors of my Kaonashi Mask template. I am considering the Spider-Man mask to be the first in the series. This mask of Spidey's enemy, Carnage, is part two. Carnage, in a nutshell, is a human serial killer who is symbiotically bonded to a malevolent alien entity. Back in the day, Carnage was popular enough to have starred in his own video game, Maximum Carnage. Template information for the mask is as follows:

I am not sure how far I will be able to take this mask series as not just any character will look right with the shape of the mask, but I have at least four more characters in mind that I think will work. Marvel Papercraft - Spider-Man Mask

I got to looking at the Kaonashi Mask papercraft I did back in January and it occurred to me that the shape of the mask was pretty close to the shape of Spider-Man's mask. As an experiment, I re-colored the Kaonashi template. I was pleased with the result, so I thought I would post it for download. While the mask is full sized and can be worn (you are on your own in figuring out where to cut the eye holes!), I suspect that most people who build this will use it as more of a decorative object. With that in mind, I added to the template an optional cover to enclose the back and to provide extra support to help the mask keep its shape. I have also included two PDF templates in the download, one for a full size mask and one for a miniature mask. Look for more Marvel masks in the future!
