G1 Dinobot Papercraft: Grimlock

In the Transformers universe, there are the Dinobots who transform, not into cars and trucks, but into dinosaurs. The leader of the Dinobots is Grimlock who transforms into a Tyrannosaurus Rex. This Grimlock papercraft by PJ Excelero Papercraft has templates available in both PDF and Pepakura PDO format, all of which is available for download here. The finished model stands about 12" (30 cm) tall.

G1 Transformers Papercraft: Devastator

In the Transformers universe, Devastator is an enormous Decepticon formed by combining the Constructicons. The Constructicons are robots that transform from construction equipment such as a bulldozer and a concrete mixer truck. The six Constructicons that make up Devastator are Bonecrusher, Hook, Long Haul, Mixmaster, Scavenger, and Scrapper (who is the leader). G1 Transformers Papercraft: Bumblebee

In most of the Transformers movies released to date, the robot character Bumblebee has the ability to convert into a yellow Chevy Camaro. However, in the 2018 Bumblebee movie, the title character is shown transforming into a yellow Volkswagen Beetle instead. This switch to a VW was a deliberate nod to the Generation 1 Transformers Bumblebee toy which also transformed into a Beetle. This G1 Bumblebee papercraft was created by Tosanaji Prakoso and KM Shofaun. Both PDF and Pepakura PDO templates for the model may be downloaded here. Generation 1 Transformers toys were produced by Hasbro Company in the late 80's.

Transforming G1 Optimus Prime Papercraft

This papercraft Optimus Prime is ultra pose-able when in robot form and may be transformed into Optimus' semi-trailer truck form. The transformation is made possible by using string or rubber bands at the model's joints. This papercraft was created by Paper Robots, which apparently no longer exists, but a copy of the printable template is still available here. Sorry, there are no instructions on how to transform from robot to vehicle mode. I think you can figure it out, though. ;)

G1 Transformers Papercraft: Laserbeak

This delightfully cartoon-ish paper model of the G1 Decepticon Laserbeak was created by Asd Fla. The PNG template for this papercraft may be downloaded here. In the Transformers universe, Laserbeak is a Decepticon spy who transforms from a cassette tape into a bird-like fighter jet with laser cannons. The group of Decepticons that transform from cassettes into various robot animals are also known as "Recordicons".

G1 Transformers Papercraft: Omega Supreme

Gus Santome usually creates mini paper toys, but in this case he has created something considerably larger! This paper model is of the G1 Transformer, Omega Supreme. Omega is described by the Transformers Wiki as:

"...one of the largest Autobots there is. He isn't much for words, preferring his massive frame and equally massive weapons to do the talking for him. Omega is the last line of defense for the Autobots, a titanic guardian robot capable of instilling fear and panic into the sparks of Decepticons that dare face him on the field of battle."

G1 Transformers Papercraft: Soundwave and Buzzsaw

In the Transformers G1 universe, Soundwave is a Decepticon who transforms into a micro-cassette player. Soundwave commands an army of "cassette troops" who, when in their cassette form, may be stored in Soundwave's chest. The Decepticon cassettes in most cases transform into robot animals that are warrior spies. War for Cybertron Optimus Prime Papercraft

Three years in the making, this papercraft Optimus Prime was a labor of love for Laul, it's designer. The model is of Optimus as he appears in the 2010 video game, Transformers: War for Cyberton. Although Laul might have been able to use a 3D model from the video game to create his papercraft, he instead chose to create a 3D model from scratch based on screen captures from the game. The finished model stands 15.7 inches (40 cm) tall. Templates and instructions may be downloaded at Paperlaul.

Angry Birds Optimus Prime Papercraft

Angry Birds Transformers is the tenth game in the Angry Birds series of apps. In the game, the familiar birds take on the identities of the Transformers. This fan art papercraft is of the red bird as Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots. The PDF template and instructions for the model may be downloaded at ZRP Papercraft.

Transformable Papercraft Decepticon Jets

These delightful paper models of the Decepticons Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker actually transform into F-22 Raptor fighter jets. The Decepticons, of course, are the mortal enemies of the Transformers. The templates for these paper models were created by DeviantART member Tom062 who based the designs on a model he found "deep in the recesses of the Internet". Transformers Prime Urbana 500 Papercraft

This paper model Urbana 500 (a fictional car based on a Chevy Camaro) is how the Transformer Bumblebee appears when in vehicle mode in the computer animated TV series Transformers Prime. The template for the model was created by ProjectKITT and may be downloaded here. Template options include Pepakura PDO and PDF along with a blank, color-it-yourself version for each template format. Transformers Prime premiered in 2010. The show's third and final season wraps up later this year.

2.5D Papercraft Decepticon Seeker Jets

WuLongTi created these 2.5D fighter jets for use in a table top game. It just so happens that Wu is also a huge Transformers fan so he modeled the jets after the alt modes of the Decepticon Seekers. Included in the assortment are StarScream, ThunderCracker, SkyWarp, AcidStorm and SunStorm. The templates for the Seekers are available for download here. The design for the original Seeker jets in the Transformers franchise were based on the real-life F-15 Eagle fighter jet. Build photo is by Aim11.

Two free printable Transformers masks are being offered by Hostess this Halloween. The masks offered include Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. The free mask offer is a promotional tie-in to the release of Transformers: Dark of the Moon on Blu-ray and DVD. The PDF templates for the masks may be downloaded here.

G1 Decepticon Papercraft: Laserbeak and Ravage

In the original 80's Transformers cartoon, the Decepticon Soundwave has the alternate form of a analog cassette tape player. Soundwave is able to eject various "Spy Cassettes" which transform into animal-like Decepticons. The paper models above are two of Soundwave's Spy Cassettes, Laserbeak and Ravage. Ravage is the work of Kook at the Paper Invaders website, while the creator of Laserbeak is unknown. The templates for the models may be downloaded here and here. Transformers Papercraft: Teletraan I Computer

The original Transformers animated television show ran from 1984 to 1987. In the show, the Autobots' base of operations was a massive spaceship known as the Ark. The Ark was operated by a semi-sentient computer named Teletraan I. Mandingo Rex of the Tformers forum has created a detailed papercraft version of Teletraan I for use as a prop with Transformer toys. A download of the Teletraan template is available here. Also available are printable sheets of wall and floor panels to build a diorama of the interior of the Ark.

Transformers Papercraft - Allspark Cubes

These are two papercraft versions of the Allspark, the powerful technological object that is capable of giving life to inanimate machines in the 2007 Transformers movie. The template for the cube on the left was created by T. Birge in 2008 and may be found in his Flickr gallery here (be sure to check out his large collection of miniature papercraft Transformers toy boxes while you are there). The template for the cube on the right is my modification of a texture created by Cody2003 at the TFW2005 forum. A download of this template is available on my DeviantArt page here.
