DIY Papercraft Bow Tie
In recent years, bow ties have grown to become a popular men's fashion accessory. The Fiber Lab company is capitalizing on the trend with this papercraft bow tie design. The company bills the tie as origami, but the fact there is some gluing involved in the construction would disqualify such a classification in the eyes of an origami purist. A free template and instructions for the tie are available at Instructables. If building your own bow tie is more than you care to tackle, a completed tie may be purchased from Fiber Lab for $30.

Mechagodzilla Papercraft
This Epson paper model of Mechagodzilla is styled after how the robot lizard appeared in the 1974 movie, Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla. To date, the character Mechagodzilla has shown up in five Godzilla movies, the most recent being 2003's Godzilla: Tokoyo S.O.S. Normally Epson's kaiju paper models are available only by printing directly from the Epson website to an Epson printer. However, as luck would have it for those without an Epson printer, a PDF version of this model may be found here.

Printable Vintage Papercraft Dollhouse
When I first saw this vintage papercraft dollhouse, my guess was it was published in the 1940's or 50's. I was wrong! The publication date on the front cover says 1962. The style of the furniture seems a little outdated for the early 60's, but what do I know, I wasn't even alive then. ^-^ Because the original dollhouse was contained in a "punchout" book with double sided pieces, it might be a challenge get the parts to align correctly when printing from a computer printer. Still, it would be fun to try! All the pages of the book may be downloaded here.
