Papercraft Lions

Here's another set of papercraft animals based on 3D models from the Zoo Tycoon 2 video game. This time we have a male and a female lion. The templates for the lions are in JPG format and may be downloaded from DrWheelieMobile's DeviantART page here. A little known fact about male lions is that their mane darkens with age. So the darker the mane, the older the lion.

World of Warcraft Sambas Lion Papercraft

The 3d model animals in the World of Warcraft video game lend themselves really well as starting points for creating paper model animals. This Sambas maned Lion papercraft by Dennis Griesheimer is one such example. Sambas is a rare spawn in the game that can be tamed as a hunter pet. Unlike real lions, Sambas have bright blue eyes. Vintage Wizard of Oz Paper Masks

These paper masks of Wizard of Oz characters were released as promotional items in 1939 by Loew's Incorporated. Loew's was the parent company of MGM, the studio that produced the original Oz movie. The masks pictured are the Scarecrow, Dorothy, a winged monkey, the Cowardly Lion, the Wizard of Oz, and the Tin Woodsman.
