Airplane Papercraft: Cirrus SR22

This papercraft airplane was created to commemorate the 2021 International Paper Modelers Convention in Sterling, Virginia. Supposedly, the completed model will glide like, well, a paper airplane. ;) The PDF template for the model may be downloaded from the International Paper Modelers Convention website. Here is more information about the real life airplane this 1:48 scale model is based on:

"The SR22 was introduced in 2001 by Cirrus Aircraft and within two years became the best-selling general aviation aircraft. The SR22 features a full-plane parachute for emergencies. The plane seats four and is used by flying schools, air taxis and private individuals. Specifications: Gross weight 3,600 lbs. Engine 310 hp Continental IO-550-N. Cruising speed 211 mph. Range 1,207 miles."
