Naruto Papercraft: Sage Mode Jiraiya

This Sage Mode Jiraiya paper model is an outstanding example of Korean papercraft. Jiraiya is a character in the Naruto animated television show which is based on a popular Japanese manga. Jiraiya is a Toad Sage, that is he has been trained by toads in the use of their secret arts. In battle, just before entering the altered state of Sage Mode, Jiraiya summons two elder toads to assist him with their abilities. The elder toads on Jiraiya's shoulders are my two favorite parts of this model. ^^ The template for this model includes the amazingly realistic rocky base shown in the photo. To download the template, go here. I would give credit to this talented designer, but unfortunately I am unable to translate the Korean. :(

  1. Hey I think you need to get permision from the real designer
if this model is from Korean online Cafe.

Otherwise you need to keep it personally ^__^

I know Korean designers are quite sensitive about sharing their models.

  2. Hi. Thanks for the advice. As far as I know this model is posted on a blog and not a cafe type site. The blog appears to be very public and set up to encourage downloads of the various models there.

If anyone knows how to contact the designer please let me know. All the translators I have tried on the blog have been unable to translate the Korean.

  3. The name of the creator is apparently Spleen. Use the Google Translator for Firefox, it will detect the language and translate it.

    1. The PDF files open just fine with a PDF reader like Adobe Reader: http://get.adobe.com/reader/ (It's free)

To open these PDF templates with a PDF Editor program like Photoshop, a secret password is required (which the designer does not provide). Many papercraft creators have adopted this security method to prevent piracy and tampering with their designs.
